(b.1993) Marikina City, Philippines. Jonathan Jose Zamora Olarte is an intermedia artist that works with new media, objects, text, and installation. By recontextualizing the historical data behind his chosen medium, He is able to create artifacts intended to expose and criticize the visible and invisible power structures poetically. His works invite viewers to reconsider how they spatially perceive and interpret contemporary Philippine society and the modern world. Through deep investigations of his and others' lived experiences, he is able to explore a range of narratives regarding the everyday dreads of neoliberalism.
